Tranquigliano, the name of my family’s home in Umbria, originally dates back to 1600 and has been in the family since the mid-1800s. The building is a typical stone farmhouse and was restored with harmony, keeping all the old details while adding comfort and solidity. The two studio apartments will be ready in spring 2021.
In the countryside, only 10 minutes from Assisi, Pasta al Pesto’s new home is centrally located for exploring the rest of Umbria. Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, Gubbio, Bevagna, Montefalco, Todi, Deruta, Orvieto are short drives from Tranquigliano. The Sibillini Mountains and Lake Trasimeno are also nearby, along with the adjacent regions of Tuscany, Lazio, and Marche. Assisi is midway between Florence and Rome, and is easy to reach by car, train or plane.
